It is the oldest forms of engineering, since humans used to build their shelters in the medieval age.A civil engineer must have a thorough knowledge about the natural elements like behavior of water, soil, fire, wind because he comes across all these elements when he takes up his work. He must also know about the effects of natural calamities whether it may be a flood or an earth quake or a tornado which affects the structures.
